Roadside Cleanup

OTS Kappa members are dedicated to providing hands on service in our community by keep our roads clean. Once a semester, members will come together to collect trash along a busy 2 mile stretch of road. It is an event that we believe to be important for our environment and our development as well-rounded veterinary students.  

Dog Wash

Once a semester OTS members volunteer their time to host a dog wash on campus. This allows owners who don’t have the time or ability to bathe or trim their dogs nails at home to get it done by veterinary students. We believe this event allows us a chance to serve the community, make connections with owners and other members, and provides well needed stress relief.

Red Cross Blood Drive

OTS Kappa hosts the Red Cross biannually for students and staff to donate as they’re available. For busy students this is a great opportunity to provide life-saving resources for those in need.
